The elevator pitch: Spend a weekend in St. Pete! With breathtaking beaches, a historic and scenic downtown, this city has all the bustle of a big city with a charming beach town vibe.
When to go: I’d suggest a visit late in the summer before the high season starts!
Where to stay: There are some pretty cool Airbnbs in St. Pete - so definitely check those out! A few hotels that I recommend are the Don CeSar ($350+, check prices here), The Vinoy ($459+, check prices here) and The Birchwood ($200+, check prices here).
How to get around: The best mode of transportation would be Uber or Lime scooters!

Cozy and welcoming. Start your trip with breakfast at the Library. The vibe of this library themed restaurant is said to be a “reprieve from daily chaos” and is just as charming as it is cozy. Order the churro pancakes for a sweet delight or the avocado toast for something more savory.

Airy and laid-back. An absolute St. Pete staple. While there is no shortage of breweries in St. Pete, this is one you can’t miss. Try their famous Sunshine City or Skyway IPA. There is a breathtaking beer garden in the back to hangout in and other beverage options for non-beer drinkers.
