The elevator pitch: Enjoy good eats, and relaxing views on the beautiful island of Santorini. From strolls down whitewashed walkways to hours soaking up the sun and sand, this vacay is sure to make you swoon!
When to go: The end of April, early May, and October is a great time to go because Santorini is a lot less busy and less expensive. May-September is the most popular time because of the warm weather. I went the first week of May and it was 65-75 degrees!
Where to stay: If you’re going with 3 people or more I recommend Airbnb for sure - the options are endless! If your party is smaller, hotels are also a great option. A few of my favorites are Dreams Luxury Suites ($600+ in high season, check prices here), the luxe Cavo Tagoo ($1k+ in high season, check prices here), Andronis Boutique Hotel ($800+ in high season, check prices here), The Vasilicos (400+ in high season, check prices here) and Grace Hotel ($1k+ in high season, check prices here)!
How to get around: Rental car, bus, ATV, walking, taxi - you really can’t go wrong! However, it’s really enjoyable to explore the city on foot.
Odds and ends: While the official language is Greek, English is widely spoken so there isn’t much of a language barrier!

Quintessential and charming. Lovely place! I ordered the Greek breakfast, the fresh squeezed juice and the lattes are delightful. The views are probably the best part!

Lovely and vibrant. Enjoy an authentic Greek lunch at Dimitris Ammoudi Taverna while taking in the stunning blue waters. There are several restaurants down on Ammoudi Bay, you can't go wrong with any but this one is a gem.

Historic and beautiful. Explore the town of Oia! Walk around and check out the many fun shops! I suggest you walk from one end of town to the other so you can see it all! Take pictures as you go, the streets are breathtaking. Head out to the Castle of Oia for amazing 360 views of the town, great for pictures!

Day 2: A Day at Sea!
Melenio
Traditional and sweet. Enjoy breakfast at Melenio while enjoying the stunning blue and white views of Oia. It’s truly breathtaking and the best way to start your day!
Santorini Yacht Club
Adventurous and luxurious. Spend the day on a catamaran tour with the Santorini Yacht Club! On the boat you will see the beautiful island of Santorini from a different perspective. See the Red Beach, White Beach, and hot springs! On the boat, they will serve lunch and drinks. Be sure to take advantage of swimming at the stops. The water is so clear and you can see all the beautiful fish.

Delicious and unique. Enjoy a traditional Greek dish at On the Cliff Suites-Cafe Bar Restaurant. Angela was our server and she was the best! We ended up going here twice because it was so good. I got the gyro the first night and the Soutzoukakia the second night and both were incredible.

Picturesque and breathtaking. Explore the town of Fira. There are many fun shops to checkout as well as Instagram-able spots for pictures along the way! Take the gondola ride down and back up as well for a fun experience, and breathtaking views.
Pelican Kipos

Eclectic and delicious. Order the lamb roast and fresh orange juice at Pelican Kipos. The atmosphere was beautiful, it was like eating in a garden. The food was amazing!
Perissa Beach
Enjoy a beautiful beach day!

Relax and enjoy. Head over to Perissa Beach. The beach features stunning black sand, hundreds of chairs, and umbrellas as well as jet skiing, parasailing and all types of fun water activities for a fee.
Trinacria

Casual and outstanding. Enjoy the best pizza you will ever taste at Trinacria in Fira. The restaurant is smaller and more casual but the pizza is delightful and the perfect way to end a beach day.
